From Christchurch to Auckland to Perth

So after I said goodbye to Julia at the airport I went up into the waiting lounge. Our plane was delayed, and everyone started freaking out and going "WTF is going on!? What do we do!?" despite it clearly saying on the TV "Plane delayed, please wait in lounge." Because of that, we had to wait around for ages. I teared up a couple of times, prompting my grandparents to ask me, "What's wrong?" What do you think is wrong!? I'm leaving everyone and everything I know! That's what's wrong! More than once, did I think about just running away. But, that was totally inpractical and would cause too much panic.
Eventually, we got on the plane and arrived at Auckland and had to hurry (which is hard when you're carrying your grandparents) to get to the connecting flight to Perth. We flew business class so that was brill <3 I listened to Lady Gaga on the plane, and totally fell inlove with her. And then I started watching He's Just Not That Into You but didn't catch the end because we got there. It took 7 hours to get there, and we were over the ocean practically the whole time :( I was looking forward to seeing the Australian Outback beneath us.
We got out of the airport pretty quickly, meeting up with Mum and Jon. Whenever I told anyone I was going to Perth the only thing they could come up with was "Oh, it's hot there!" so I pretty much had it bashed into my head about how hot it is. But damn, it is hot in Perth! Although, it's not unbearable which is gooood.
There are a lot of insects, no power points, my internet is incredibly slow and I have nobody to talk to but other than that it's looking pretty good.
